Vanguard Automatic • San Bruno (Various SKUs)

The Vanguard San Bruno was born to push boundaries. In 1911, an aviation pioneer became the first pilot to successfully land an aircraft on a ship, launching the concept of naval aviation as we now know it. This remarkable pilot flew his Curtiss pusher biplane from the Tanforan Racetrack in San Bruno, California and landed on a platform located on the USS Pennsylvania, an armored cruiser in the San Francisco Bay. Inspired by aviation and a daring sense of adventure, the Vanguard San Bruno embodies a refined design and a powerful presentation of the automatic movement complications. Similar to aeronautic propulsion, the natural movement while wearing the timepiece harnesses kinetic energy and allows the mainspring to automatically wind. Available with a stainless steel bracelet or a leather band, the San Bruno offers more than a watch, but an adventure waiting to happen.
